On October 24, Paulene Kipke once again appeared on Fox 11’s Living with Amy to discuss the new WisCaregiver Careers program.
Paulene and Amy talked about how the WisCaregiver Careers program allows Wisconsin residents to take Certified Nursing Assistant Training classes at no cost. In addition, once a participant completes six months of employment within a participating nursing home, they receive a $500 bonus.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services is offering this program to help fill the approximately 12,000 open CNA positions across the state. Up to 3,000 Wisconsin residents are able to participate, and the program is still taking applicants.
