Experience Needed: Teaching experience is NOT required. Quality CNA Training will train you and provide you with all of the necessary materials to become a Nursing Assistant Instructor.
Job Description: We are expanding our team of Nursing Assistant Instructors! If you are a passionate, motivated Registered Nurse who is dedicated to helping students learn and successfully start a new career in healthcare, then Quality CNA Training is interested in meeting you!
Day Shifts: All training hours are flexible and designed around your availability. Day shift hours are typically 6 – 8 hours in length, starting between 6 – 8am, 2 – 4 days a week. No holidays or weekends!
PM Shifts: All training hours are flexible and designed around your availability. PM shift hours are typically 4 – 4.5 hours in length, starting between 3:30 – 5pm, 2 – 4 days a week, and include an occasion weekend for 8-hour day shift clinical training at a local healthcare facility. No Holidays!
Salary: $38 – $40 an hour paid bi-weekly

Class Size: 1:12 in the lab setting / 1:6 in the clinical setting
Position Summary: Instructors provide students with the knowledge & skills practice required to properly perform hands-on care for individuals living within multiple types of living facilities. Instructors demonstrate & observe students performing their skills in a lab setting and provide guidance and supervision for students in the clinical setting. Instructors are responsible for carrying out the Quality CNA Training curriculum while providing a positive and productive learning environment so that students are prepared for the workplace and/or further education.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Meet students’ learning needs by incorporating a variety of teaching methods and assessments.
• Assist students in developing critical thinking skills so they can apply concepts to their careers in nursing.
• Maintain a professional, clean, and safe learning environment.
• Keep accurate records of student attendance and grade reports.
• Help build and maintain ongoing relationships with community, industry, and clinical partners whenever possible.
• Coordinate and communicate with our administrative team when appropriate.
• Coordinate and communicate with our social media team when appropriate.
Requirements:
• An Associate Degree or higher in nursing.
• A current, unrestricted Wisconsin Registered Nurse License.
• At least 2 years of work experience as a Registered Nurse
• 1 year of experience working in Long-Term Care as an RN (this includes Skilled-Nursing Facilities, Hospice, and some Home Health and Assisted Living facilities)
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• A caregiver background check will be performed upon job offer.
• Prior teaching experience not required. Quality CNA Training provides the training for qualified individuals.
