All students will start the CNA training program by completing on their online coursework through Google Classroom. An invitation to your Google Classroom will be emailed to you prior to class starting. As an aspiring Certified Nursing Assistant, you will learn a variety of important topics that will prepare you for your clinical practice hours. The vocabulary and abbreviation links that are provided below will help you in completing your coursework and prepare you for your State Knowledge Exam.
Your in-person classroom skills practice will help prepare you to apply the principles you’ve learned online by working in a clinical setting. This involves learning how to take vital signs, maintain a patient’s hygiene, perform range-of-motion exercises, and how to communicate effectively with patients.
