WisCaregiver CNA is an employment-first program where students first apply for a job with a local nursing home, then after accepting a position at the nursing home, the employer (the nursing home) pays for the training. Once the student completes the training, the nursing home is reimbursed by WisCaregiver CNA for for the cost of the CNA Training and Testing. UMOS offers assistance for individuals with an agricultural work background. They also have programs for those who are dependents of parents who have worked in agricultural during the past 2 years. These work backgrounds include crops, cannery, dairy, nurseries, poultry, Christmas trees/wreaths, farm animal care, greenhouse, hay bailing or any other related farm work.
