Becoming a CNA is a challenging and rewarding career for compassionate and hard-working individuals. One of the many reasons people decide to become CNAs is that this career path enables people to practice their love for caring for others. Our Nurse Aide program has been skillfully designed to provide our students with both classroom instruction and hands-on clinical training. It also provides you with the knowledge, skills, and practice needed to pursue a new career.

Please review the schedules carefully and choose the best option for you. The Class Code is located at the top of the schedule, and you will need it to complete your application. Once you have completed the application, you will also need to provide payment information. YOU MUST HAVE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING… *U.S.A. ISSUED, *SIGNED, *UNEXPIRED, *PHOTO-BEARING FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION – You will need the ORIGINAL document on your state exam days, copies are not accepted. Documents missing ANY of the * items will not be accepted.
• State-Issued Driver’s License
• State-Issued Identification Card
• Signed U.S. Passport (Foreign Passports and Passport Cards are not acceptable UNLESS they have an UNEXPIRED U.S. VISA)
• Permanent Resident Card (Green Card or Alien Registration Card) / Employment Authorization Card Issued by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
• Tribal Identification Card
• U.S. Military Identification Card
TB Test: A 2-Step TB test is required by ALL students BEFORE participating in the “clinical” portion of the training. This test takes a FULL 2 WEEKS and involves a total of 4 office visits. During this time, you will receive two injections & have two readings. Students may also opt to have a 1-TIME blood test or chest x-ray done in place of the 2 Step-TB Test.
FLU Vaccination: Flu vaccination is typically required by between Oct 1 – May 31st but may vary from year-to-year. Please contact us if you have concerns regarding obtaining the vaccination.
Medical Release: Students who have medical/health concerns, back issues, or are pregnant will need a doctor’s release stating that you are able to participate in the training program without any restrictions. Students must be able to be on their feet for an 8-hour clinical shift, lift and transfer up to 50 lbs, bend, reach, and squat, perform fine motor skills tasks with both hands, have good mobility and balance, and be free of any physical or medical restrictions. Students needing us to consider special accommodations should complete the following document and submit it for approval:
