Kathy Kitter-Carey recently joined the Quality CNA Training team and was integral in opening the new training program in the Superior area. Kathy is a registered nurse in multiple states and has several years of experience teaching the Nursing Assistant Training program. Kathy retired from WITC/Northwood Technical College in 2019 as the colleges Nursing Assistant Program Director. She mentioned that “It was very rewarding and I met many outstanding professionals that felt as I did regarding the importance of nursing assistant education.” Kathy currently works at Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing at Superior in on-call education in addition to teaching with Quality CNA Training.
“I feel very fortunate to have this new opportunity with Quality CNA. I have enjoyed working with the Quality CNA Training team to open the location in Superior”, she shared.
Kathy currently lives in Lake Nebagamon, WI just outside of the Superior/Duluth area. She appreciates our Great Lake Superior and its surrounding beauty. Kathy mentioned that in her free time, her favorite thing to do is to spend time with her seven-year-old grandson, his parents & her husband. They enjoy spending time at the lake and summer & winter outdoor activities.
